The recall was issued Thursday after the manufacturer received several reports of the plastic eyes loosening or detaching, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).

Affected plush toy models include:

Each of these toys has a sewn-in label with the words “DOUGLAS® the cuddle toy.”

About 25,000 of the products were sold to speciality toy and gift shops across the U.S. from July 2014 to April 2017.

They were also distributed by UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation to individuals and organizations, CPSC said. The products cost about $20 apiece.

While no injuries have been reported, the toys should be taken away from children immediately.

Consumers who purchased recalled plush toys may contact Douglas Company for a free replacement or a full refund.
