Over 90,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage were recalled by Armour Eckrich Meats, LLC because they may contain bits of metal.

The fully-cooked pork, turkey, and beef breakfast sausages were not for retail sale. They were only distributed to food service establishments.

The following items are subject to recall:

Eckrich is based in Junction City, Kansas. The recall involves 8,769 cases of sausages that were shipped to food service companies in Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the products. If you are concerned about an illness or injury, contact a healthcare provider.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
