Kubota Tractor Corp., of Grapevine, Texas is recalling about 26,900 of the RTV-X utility vehicles after 3 reports of seat belts breaking. No injuries have been reported.
According to a recall notice posted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC):
The seat belt stays can break, posing an injury hazard to consumers in the event of a crash.”
This recall involves diesel-powered Kubota RTV-X utility vehicles with model numbers ending in 900, 1100, 1120D and 1140.
They were sold from June 2015 through June 2017 at Kubota dealers nationwide for between $15,000 and $25,000.

Consumers should stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a Kubota dealer to schedule a free repair.
