Red Bird Farms Recalls Potentially Spoiled Chicken

The recall was issued after a customer of King Soopers complained about a discolored product. Red Bird Farms says no illnesses or other injuries have been linked to the recalled chicken strips.

The recalled products were sold in 1.1-pound white trays of boneless chicken breasts and strips, with a “Sell-By” date of August 20 and the “Red Bird Farms” brand-name.

The recall involves 243 cases of boneless skinless chicken breasts and 108 cases of chicken strips with 9 trays per case. The lot numbers include 720177 and 720199 with Establishment #P-8139.

Red Bird Farms is offering a full refund and asks consumers to return the recalled products to the store where it was purchased.
