Tyson Recalls 2.5 Million Pounds of Chicken Patties for Undeclared Milk

The USDA Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall on June 9, three days after the problem was discovered. Tyson was notified by a supplier that the bread crumbs in the recalled products contained milk — an ingredient not listed on the label.

There have been no confirmed adverse reactions associated with consumption of the recalled products. Anyone concerned about an illness or injury should contact a healthcare provider.

The recall involves chicken items that were packaged on various dates between August 17, 2016 and January 14, 2017.
