Baby Pacifiers Recalled for Choking Hazard

Pacifier Recall

At least 67 cases of a snap on the pacifiers detaching from the ribbon have been reported to the CPSC, which could result in a choking hazard for young children.

The recall includes Dr. Brown’s Lovey pacifier and teether holders sold in 7 styles: giraffe, zebra, turtle, reindeer, frog, deer and bunny. Affected products were sold nationwide at major retailers and online from August 2015 to March 2018 for about $10, CPSC said.

The teething products were imported by Handi-Craft and manufactured by Yangzhou Rich Arts and Crafts Co. in China.

If you purchased one of the recalled pacifiers for your child or another loved one, you should take it away from them immediately and contact Handi-Craft for a replacement or comparable merchandise.

To date, no injuries have been associated with the recall, CPSC said.
