FDA said in a recall notice issued Friday that the action was taken as a “precautionary measure,” due to the potential risk for glass particles. Meijer says it became aware of the problem after a customer returned a yogurt cup with 2 tiny shards of glass in it.

The recalled yogurt has an expiration date of 3/8/2018, according to the FDA, and was sold in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
Consumers who purchased any of the affected products should discard them immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Anyone with health questions or concerns should contact their doctor, the agency said.
To date, there have been no injuries or other incidents associated with the recall, according to the FDA.
