Nearly 18 Tons of Kroger Beef Recalled for Plastic Contamination

The recalled beef was produced on March 22, 2018, FSIS said. Affected products include:

The recalled products can be identified by the establishment number “EST. 34176” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to distribution centers in Virginia and Indiana for further distribution to retail locations.

Consumers who purchased any of the recalled meat should not eat it, and either discard it immediately or return it to the point of purchase for a recall.

To date, no illnesses or other adverse events have been linked to the recall.
