West Elm Recalls Jensen Glass Tables for Injury Hazard

West Elm has received 9 reports of the glass table top shattering. No injuries have been reported.

According to the recall notice posted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on February 13:

The tempered glass top can shatter unexpectedly, posing a laceration and injury hazard to the user or bystanders.

This recall involves West Elm Jensen glass tables with a solid wood A-frame base, a clear glass top, and SKU number 4737003 or 7912629. The glass tables measure 76″ long x 36″ wide x 30″ high.

They were sold at West Elm stores nationwide, West Elm’s catalog and westelm.com from September 2014 through December 2016 for between $480 and $600.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tables and contact West Elm to receive a free replacement table top.
