Dozens of Hummus Products Recalled for Listeria Risk

Pita Pal Foods, LP, of Houston, Texas, recalled hummus products manufactured between May 30, 2019 and June 25, 2019 because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

FDA inspectors discovered Listeria at the manufacturing facility, but not in any finished products, according to the recall notice.

The hummus was distributed nationwide in the U.S. and to United Arab Emirates.

The following hummus products are included in the recall:

Consumers who bought hummus products with the recalled use-by dates (see recall notice below) should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
