Listeria poisoning, or listeriosis, is a serious infection that causes symptoms including fever, muscle aches, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems. The infection is particularly dangerous for pregnant women and older people.

Consumers in possession of any recalled burritos should discard them immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
