Oregon Company Recalls Ground Beef, Pork Products for E. Coli Contamination

The recall was issued after Interstate Meat Distributors’ own third party testing identified E. coli in the beef trim, according to the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Affected products include:

The meat was produced and packaged on Feb. 10 and 12, and distributed to retail locations in Oregon, Utah, and Washington State, according to FSIS. All affected products have the establishment number “965” inside the USDA inspection marks.

Consumers who have purchased any meat affected by the recall are urged to discard it immediately or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

To date, no E. coli infections or other illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
