The recall involves Target Room Essentials 4-drawer dressers. The dressers measure 41-7/8″ tall by 31-½” wide by 15-11/16″ deep.

There are 12 reports of the dressers tipping over or collapsing, including tipping over onto two 3 year-old children. No injuries were reported, but these tip-over incidents can potentially cause death:

The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.”

The recalled dressers were sold at Target stores nationwide and online from January 2013 through April 2016 for about $118.

The recalled dressers can be identified by a model number that is printed on the product’s packaging — Model #249-05-0103 (black), Model #249-05-0106 (espresso), or Model #249-05-0109 (maple).
