Coldwater Direct LLC, of Hingham, Massachusetts has recalled about 43 musical snow globes with reindeer or a snowman inside because light refraction through the glass can singe items nearby or start a fire.

The Reindeer Snow Globe (Style 13826 and Model #XC7484) has 2 white reindeer inside and a wind-up key at the bottom.

The Vintage Charm Snow Globe (Style 13660 and Model #3WGL120) has a silver snowman inside and a silver base.

Coldwater Creek has received 1 report of an incident that caused property damage. No injuries were reported. According to the recall:

Light refraction through the globes can singe or melt items in contact with or in the immediate proximity, posing a fire hazard.”

The recalled snow globes were sold at Coldwater Creek stores, catalog and online from October 2017 to December 2017 for $40.

The style number is on a label located on the underside of the globe. The style number is the 9th through 14th digits printed on the price label. The model number is printed on the product packaging.

Consumers should stop using the recalled snow globes and contact Coldwater Creek to return the product free of cost for a full refund.
