The lawsuit was filed by David C., a man from Michigan who was implanted with a Denali® Inferior Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.
The IVC Filter was implanted on March 27, 2015 at a hospital in Michigan. His injuries occurred while he was a resident of Michigan.
The lawsuit was filed on July 15, 2018 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:18-cv-02216-DGC.
It will be centralized with over 4,000 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
