Britax received 33 reports of the car seats unexpectedly disconnecting from the strollers and falling to the ground. There were 26 reports of children who were injured by scratches, bruises, cuts, and bumps to the head.

Britax is also aware of 1,337 reports of strollers with damaged “Click & Go” receiver mounts, which are used to attach car seats in a travel system.

The recall involves that Britax B-Agile and BOB Motion Strollers with “Click & Go” receiver mounts to attach a car seat. For a complete list of recalled model numbers, click here to see the recall notice.

According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC):

A damaged receiver mount on the stroller can cause the car seat to disengage and fall unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard to infants in the car seat.”

The recalled strollers were sold at Babies R Us, buy buy Baby, Target, and other stores nationwide. They were also sold on websites online between May 2011 to February 2017 for $250-$470 for the strollers and travel systems.

The strollers or car seats are fine to use independently, but not together. The single-strollers can be repaired, so owners should contact Britax. The repair-kit is not offered for the double-strollers.
