Kids II, Inc., of Atlanta, Georgia recalled Oball Rattles in pink, blue, green, and orange with Model #81031 and date codes T0486, T1456, T2316, T2856 and T3065 located on a small triangle inside the rattle.

The rattles have three clear plastic disc-shaped chambers, one of which has five (5) orange beads.

There have been at least 42 reports of the plastic disc breaking and spilling out beads. Two children were found with the beads in their mouth. There were 3 reports of children gagging on the beads.

Parents and caregivers should immediately take the recalled rattles away from young children and contact the manufacturer for a refund. Click here to check if your baby’s rattle is part of the recall.

The rattles were sold at Target, Walgreens, Walmart, other stores and online from January 2016 through February 2017 for around $5 to $7. About 680,000 were sold in the U.S, plus another 17,000 in Canada.
