Jacksonville, Florida-based Gaia Ethnobotanical, LLC, issued the recall for all its kratom (mitragyna speciosa) powder products manufactured, processed, packed, and/or held, from March 18 – 30, 2018.

These products were distributed across the U.S. via Internet sales, according to the FDA. Gaia Ethnobotanical is notifying customers by email and telephone about the recall.

If you purchased any kratom products affected by this recall, you should discard them immediately or return them to the point of purchase for a full refund. To date, no salmonella infections or other illnesses have been associated with the recall.
