The lawsuit was filed by David T., a man from California who was implanted with the Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.

The IVC Filter was implanted on March 29, 2017 at a hospital in California. His injuries also occurred while he was living in California.

The lawsuit was filed on March 9, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-01617-DGC.

It will be centralized with over 6,750 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
