Petzl Recalls Ice Climbing Axes for Shaft Break Risk

Petzl America recalled about 4,200 Nomic and Ergonomic ice climbing axes after the aluminum shaft was found to break at the handle during use, posing a fall hazard and the risk of serious injury or death.
