Children playing with PlanToys baby gyms could become tangled in the side rope crossbars and choke, according to a recall notice issued by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).

Recalled models have a date code of TH 080116 through TH 082916 printed on the top corner of the joint connecting ball, CPSC said.

The products were sold for about $50 at specialty toy and baby stores across the U.S., and online at Target.com, Diapers.com and other websites from Sept. 2016 through May 2017.

CPSC said the recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution, and there have been no reports of injuries or other incidents reported to date.

If you purchased a recalled baby gym, you should not use it and contact PlanToys for a free replacement.
