Macy’s Merchandising Group, Inc., of New York recalled the Martha Stewart Collection® Whiteware cake knife and server set.

The set includes a knife and a cake server. Each is about 11″ long with a white, textured ceramic handle, and the words “Martha Stewart Collection” embossed on the metal where the blade meets the handle.

Macy’s has received 4 reports of handles on the knife and server sets breaking. The broken knives have resulted in lacerations, including deep cuts that required stitches.

The knife and server sets were sold at Macy’s stores and Military Exchanges nationwide in the United States from January 2014 through July 2017 for $25 at Macy’s and $15 at Military Exchanges.

The product can be identified by UPC Code #608356963330 and Product ID PRCDCKSRVR printed on the product packaging.

Consumers should stop using the recalled cake knife and server sets and return them to Macy’s or a Military Exchange for a full refund.
