The recall involves water-absorbent “Hatch and Grow Easter Eggs,” which sold at Target stores from February to March of this year for about a dollar each, according to a “Fast Track Recall” notice issued the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).

Affected Easter toys have model number 234-25-1200 on the packaging, while the Dino toys have number 234-09-0016.

CPSC says the products can expand in a child’s body after being swallowed, causing intestinal obstructions which could be life-threatening. The toys may not show up on x-rays, and surgery could be needed to remove them.

Consumers who purchased any products affected by the recall should discard them immediately or return them to Target for a full refund.

To date, no injuries have been associated with the recall.
