Hauck Fun For Kids, the distributor of the recalled go-karts, has received at least 639 complaints of steering wheels breaking, detaching or cracking. One case resulted in a laceration to a child’s face, requiring stitches, according to a recall notice issued on Tuesday by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC).

The recall affects 4-wheel pedal-powered go-karts for children ages 4 to 10. The products were manufactured between 2016 and 2017, and sold at national retailers including Target, Toys R Us, Walmart and Amazon.com.

If you purchased one of the recalled go karts, you should not let children play with it, and contact Hauck Fun For Kids for a new steering wheel.
