The lawsuit was filed by Eric Todd S., a man from Colorado who was implanted Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.
The IVC Filter was implanted on May 8, 2015 at a hospital in Colorado. His injuries occurred while he was a resident of Colorado.
The lawsuit was filed on February 25, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-01313-DGC.
It will be centralized with over 5,000 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
