The lawsuit was filed by Charles W., a man who was living in Texas when he was implanted Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.
The IVC Filter was implanted on August 15, 2014 at a hospital in Texas. He was living in California when his injuries occurred. He is currently a resident of California.
The lawsuit was filed on March 29, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-02098-DGC.
It will be centralized with over 7,370 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
