The lawsuit was filed by Devon Y., a man from Minnesota who was implanted with the Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.

The IVC Filter was implanted on October 1, 2014 at a hospital in Minnesota. His injuries occurred while he was a resident of Minnesota.

The lawsuit was filed on March 10, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-01634-DGC.

It will be centralized with over 7,000 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
