The lawsuit was filed by Denise T., a woman who was living in Maryland when she was implanted with a Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.
The IVC Filter was implanted on June 30, 2014 at a hospital in Pennsylvania. Her injuries occurred while she was a resident of Pennsylvania.
The lawsuit was filed on March 9, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-01623-DGC.
It will be centralized with over 6,750 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
