The recall affects all models of Kids II Infant Sleepers, and comes just weeks after a suspiciously similar recall Fisher-Price ordered for a nearly identical product, CPSC said.
Since the Kids II Infant Sleeper was approved in 2012, the agency is aware of at least 5 babies who died after rolling from their backs to their stomachs while unrestrained, or under other circumstances, CPSC said.
Affected sleepers were made in China, and distributed nationwide to large retailers such as Walmart, Toys”R” Us and Target from March 2012 thru April 26, 2019, for between $40 and $80, CPSC said.
