The lawsuit was filed by Gail M., a woman from Illinois who was implanted with the Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.
The IVC Filter was implanted on December 21, 2016 at a hospital in Illinois. Her injuries occurred while she was living in Illinois.
The lawsuit was filed on March 9, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-01622-DGC.
It will be centralized with over 6,750 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
