The lawsuit was filed by Earletta B., a woman from Florida who was implanted Denali® Vena Cava Filter (“IVC Filter”) manufactured by C.R. Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular.

The IVC Filter was implanted on January 6, 2015 at a hospital in Florida. Her injuries occurred while she was a resident of Florida.

The lawsuit was filed on February 1, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona — Case No. 2:19-cv-00688-DGC.

It will be centralized with over 5,770 other IVC filter lawsuits now pending against C.R. Bard in Multi-District Litigation (MDL No. 2641) — IN RE: Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation.
