The recall involves Stop & Shop®, Giant®, and Martin’s® brand of Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn.

No illnesses have been reported, but eating food that is contaminated with Listeria can cause a serious and potentially fatal illness:

Listeriosis can cause high fever, severe headache, neck stiffness and nausea. Listeriosis can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths, as well as serious and sometimes fatal infections.”

The recalls involves the following products:

  • Stop & Shop Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, 16 oz., UPC 68826700676 with a Best By Date of Oct-2019
  • Giant Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, 16 oz., UPC 68826700676 with a Best By Date of Oct-2019
  • Martin’s Frozen Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, 16 oz., UPC 68826700676 with a Best By Date of Oct-2019

Customers who bought this product should throw it out and bring their receipt to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
