This recall affects RIDGID NXT wet/dry vacuums, models HD06000 (6 gallon) and HD09000 (9 gallon). Model numbers can be found on a silver product identification label on the back of the vacuum’s powerhead assembly.

The vacuums were sold exclusively at Home Depot stores and online for between $50 and $60 from March 2018 to July 2018.

The vacuums are orange and black with 4 swivel casters, a carrying handle, hose and accessories. RIDGID is printed on the front of the vacuum.

If you purchased one of the RIGID wet/dry vacs being recalled, you should stop using it immediately and contact the company for a free vacuum powerhead assembly.

To date, no injuries or other adverse events have been associated with the recall, CPSC said.
